Clean Green

The term “Green” has come to mean a multifaceted approach to minimizing the human impact on our planet. We can reduce this impact by recycling produces, minimizing the consumption of resources, using alternative chemicals that are safer on the environment and by finding uses for plants that can be re-grown.

At Leonard Brush and Chemical, we have a wide array of products that can help our customers in their attempt to become Greener.

We offer door mats that are made from recycled plastic and rubber tires. Our paper hand towels, toilet paper, card board boxes and food containers are all made with a large percentage of recycled paper pulp. The plastic liners and plastic trash containers we sell are all made from recycled plastic resin. We have special “recycling containers” to promote your recycling program.

If you use fewer products you can obviously save money. If you reduce consumption of resources you will have less trash going to a landfill and less pollution. We can help you reduce chemical consumption by using mixing devices that accurately dilute concentrated cleaning products for maximum economy. We have long lasting microfiber cloths, wet mops, and dust mop heads that can be laundered hundreds of times. These also dramatically minimizing the amount of chemicals used.

We offer chemicals for laundry and general cleaning that pollute the environment less and are healthier to use. Hydrogen peroxide is used in several effective cleaners. This chemical breaks down to water and oxygen. Most all of our chemicals are now biodegradable. These have been formulated to work well, without lingering in the environment and still be cost effective.  Let us show you that it does not have to cost more to go Green with your cleaning program. Our chemicals have been tested by third party agencies like Green Seal and formulated according to the EPA’s program Designed for the Environment. These certifications are so you will be confident that you are using products that are healthier for the environment.

We also have several orgainic cleaning chemicals that have components made from corn, soybean and other vegetation. These can be re-grown over and over again. This line of products is called BioRenewable.  It is part of our commitment to offer natural cleaning chemicals made from our environment.
